Here are some samples of my editing, producing, and writing for Dodo Kids, Nick Jr., Reading Rainbow, Mashable, NBC Nightly News: What’s Going On?, and Bravo.
Dodo Kids: Egbert the Octopus
I was the lead creative at Dodo Kids from its launch in 2019 through 2024. In that time, I grew the channel to 2.9 million subscribers and 2.4 billion views, in part by developing numerous unique franchises centered around encouraging kids to identify with and love animals. Here is the pilot I wrote and edited for our It’s Me! series.
Nick Jr: Barnyard Daycare
I joined the Nick Jr. team in 2024 to help pilot and launch one of their first digital-native series, Barnyard Daycare. I acted as head writer/producer for the series, shepherding all 20 episodes through production.
Reading Rainbow
I was extremely honored to join the editing team of the Reading Rainbow reboot in 2025, tackling the crafting segments and kids’ book recommendation segments.
Mashable: How It Hits
Between 2025 and early 2026, I wrote, edited, and narrated nearly a dozen video essays for Mashable in their “How It Hits” series, which seeks to explain why we love our favorite movies and shows.
NBC News: What’s Going On?
In early 2026, NBC Nightly News tasked me with helping re-launch their Nightly News: Kids Edition as What’s Going On?, a Youtube-native property for middle-school aged kids. So far, 25 segments have been published, ranging in topics from “The Science of Shoe Squeaks” to “Ebola Outbreaks” to “the Strait of Hormuz closure.”
Bravo: Shop What Happens Live
Late 2025, I was hired to edit the pilot of a spin off of Watch What Happens Live called Shop What Happens Live.
